Dinner For Tucans
Right next to the Brunswick GA Hampton Inn is restaurant called Toucans Ale House. I had fish and Cheri had a quesadilla.
Time to Head North
We left on our northern journey at 9:00 am. Good bye Key West.
Stopped for lunch at Wendy's in Fort Pierce, FL.
Crossed over the Georgia boarder at 6:15 pm.
Checked into our hotel at 7:00 pm. Staying at the Hampton Inn in Brunswick, GA.
Dinner and a Sunset
The hotel has a couple of dining choices. We ate at the Hot Tin Roof. It is on the second level so it was right down the hall from our room number 228.
We dined outside so we could see the famous Key West sunset...too bad it was cloudy.
We ate small plates of Chiorizo, bruschett, and a charcuterie. Loved it all!!
Checked Inn
We checked in at the Ocean Key Resort. It is spectacular! Right on the very tip of Key West and right on Mallory Square.

Going On a Deer Hunt
We headed south to Big Pine Key. They have small deer that roam the key. We had success spotting those cuties.
A Beer Anyone?!
We headed to Islamorada to check out a couple of breweries. Florida Keys Brewing Co was our favorite.
Kathy Drives On
We went from no plans to seeing how much we could jam into one day with Kathy behind the wheel.
First stop Bahia Honda State Park.
Last Day In Marathon
We started the day with no real plan other than having breakfast with Kathy and J at the Stuffed Pig...one of their favorite places...and now we know why!!

A Tradition
A friend from home who has come to the Keys for years last year said we had to have the lobster Reuben. Loved it. It was a must have this year. It is my favorite meal in the keys....so far.
